Our Collaborations

Doğuş University has signed cooperation agreements with national and international organizations on issues directly compatible with the fields of activity of the Carbon Footprint and Sustainability Application and Research Center. With these cooperations, the center has gained an ecosystem where it can hold national and international conferences, produce new projects and conduct academic studies in line with its founding purpose, and provide training that serves sustainable development goals both domestically and internationally. Protocols made within this scope: 

 
United Nations Development Program (UNDP): A declaration of intent was signed between the United Nations Development Program (“UNDP”), a subsidiary of the United Nations established by Member States and headquartered in New York (USA), and Doğuş University on 16.06.2023. Within this scope, UNDP cooperates with Doğuş University in areas of mutual interest in the research and implementation of advanced technologies to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. 


Türkiye Garanti Bankası: According to the trilateral protocol signed between Doğuş University, Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) and Türkiye Garanti Bankası; Türkiye Garanti Bankası officially recognizes the ESG ratings and carbon emission measurements given by Doğuş University and bases its offering of green credit products on these measurement units. Accordingly, Türkiye Garanti Bankası offers green financing products to companies receiving services based on the ESG ratings and GHG emission measurements given by Doğuş University. 
 

EnerjiSA Production: Within the scope of the scientific research project conducted by the academic staff on the board of directors of the center, a sponsorship and cooperation protocol has been signed with EnerjiSA Üretim for the greenhouse gas emission measurements of the companies. The greenhouse gas emissions of the companies are calculated with QuickCarbon software, a subsidiary of EnerjiSA Üretim. EnerjiSA Üretim also provides support in the areas of products aimed at reducing greenhouse gases, renewable energy usage and carbon credits. 

Istanbul Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone Directorate: A "Scientific-Cultural-Artistic Cooperation Protocol" has been signed between Doğuş University and Istanbul Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone. With the protocol signed, it is aimed to mutually increase the joint work in local / national / international / technological / scientific / social / technical / cultural / artistic / educational / R&D focused innovative etc. activities in order to increase the social and economic development level of the region and relevant institutions in mutual cooperation between Doğuş University and Istanbul Dudullu Organized Industrial Zone and to develop University-Industry cooperation. 


MODOKO: With the Cooperation Protocol signed between MODOKO and Doğuş University on 15/01/2024, it is aimed to take innovative steps in the fields of education, internship, R&D projects and design. As the first step of this cooperation, Doğuş University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (DOUSEM) has initiated Entrepreneurship Certificate Training for companies. It is expected that the cooperation will continue in sustainability-related projects.
